In 2007, I began work on a web site for the Woodcroft Community League. Since this project's early days, it has expanded into a large and complex dynamic content management system. This system can handle blog-style articles, as well as an event calendar system and a file distribution system used for things such as newsletters.
Many components of this system are configurable through an administrative interface. The goal was to design a system which was easy to maintain and matched the community group's requirements as closely as possible, while keeping the system customizable for use by other groups.
The version of this system used by the local community group still gets regular updates as feature requests come in. However, no releases of the generic package have been made in quite some time.
I no longer manage the content on Woodcroft Community League's site; I only manage the underlying system.
